For textile fibres are meant:
elements characterized by flexibility, finesse
and high ratio between length and size
ne maximum transversal, which make them suitable for
textile applications

Wool is a natural textile fiber obtained from the fleece of sheep, rabbits, camelids and minor productions from dogs, yaks and Tibetan antelope. The wool obtained is called virgin wool

Mohair is a textile fiber of animal origin with characteristics similar to silk, obtained from the hair of the Angora goat. The word mohair comes from the Arabic mukhayyar, which means choice

Viscose is an artificial fiber made by mixing vegetable cellulose with chemical compounds; it is neither a natural fiber nor a synthetic fiber as many claim, but a textile fiber that uses a part of raw material of natural origin and a part of synthetic chemical substances, and which is obtained through different chemical processes.

Cashmere is a yarn obtained from the fleece of a particular species of goats - Kashmir goats - which are raised in many Eastern countries, such as Iran, Turkey and Afghanistan. But the finest cashmere of all comes from the highlands of China's Inner Mongolia.
The value of cashmere is defined by the fineness of its fibers: cashmere from this area has fibers that measure just fifteen microns – thousandths of a millimeter – in diameter.

Tencel Lyocell is a recently introduced type of ecological fabric that is produced from eucalyptus trees, of which the wood pulp is used, and this on the assumption that the artificial cellulose fiber is more compatible from an environmental point of view.
